Although he has never thought of working as a teacher, once Abdul-Rahim Shash joined the faculty of Education (English Language Department), he decided to be a unique teacher with a different style. In his continuous search for this unique style he did his best in his study, and spent long hours in every public or specialized library in his city absorbing the knowledge in their books in all fields to form his own database on how human personality being shaped and/or reshaped to make the best change in the learners minds and souls.
Having graduated, he had to take the second crucial decision in his practical life that he chose to work with adults through the Language lab in Science Exploration Center for eight years. During these years he managed to train about five thousand trainees on English language skills and the techniques of passing through the international certificate tests in English, believing that teaching for adults should work on the trainee’s comprehensive personality development, not only to give him some more information.
He joined a lot of educational training courses, in addition to passing the professional teacher diploma from the faculty of education – Ain shams University. He is now working on his master degree in the professional development for teachers.
In 2013, he joined the technical office of the minister of education as an educational specialist, through this position he managed to have a closer and deeper understanding of the mechanisms of making the educational decisions. In October 2015 he was chosen to join Teachers First project (the first cohort) for teachers’ professional development, then he worked with the project as a trainer, in addition to playing the role of Ministry Liaison for the whole project.
