David is an experienced and expert education development professional with a unique blend of teaching, education leadership and business skills. He has worked with governments, corporations, funding organizations and NGO’s advising on and developing projects for the use of technology in education. He has been involved in global education for over a decade having previously taught for 10 years and been an education consultant in the UK for 5.
He has spoken at and taken workshops at many international conferences such as including World Islamic Economic Forum, African Union, Global Education Leaders Programme, BESA, UNESCO, NAACE, Planet Earth Institute, International and Private Schools Education Forum (IPSEF). At the UNESCO ICT in Education conference he was awarded the honour of presenting the most innovative idea in educational technology. He has had a number of advisory roles such as Chief Education Adviser, EMEA, Knowledge Motion Ltd; Director, British Education Suppliers Association (BESA) and Chairman of the Software and Technologies Interest Group; and Education Adviser, One Future Renewables Ltd.
David has led on initiatives such as curriculum designer for national governments, as principal consultant for a national education project, creator and implementer of global education support programmes to support pre and post sales activities, running proof of concept (POC) and prototype programmes in several countries and developed proposals for the effective use of renewable technologies in accelerating educational change in developing countries.
He graduated from Loughborough University, UK with an Honours degree in Sports Science and a Certificate of Education. He has taught in Further Education, Secondary and Primary schools, leaving a post as Deputy Head teacher in 2001.
David lives in the UK with his wife and young daughter and enjoys the outdoor life as much as possible. He has represented his country in 2 sports and coached a national team for 3 years.
Educational Technology Training with over six years of experience in educational environments, he has outstanding experience in designing, implementing and evaluating training programs with different scales, Knowledge of training standards and techniques merged with skills like creativity and leadership took him to contribute in large scale educational development initiatives in Egypt, designing the effective3 use of technology part for Technology for Improved Learning Outcomes “TILO” USAID program in 2010, and Millennium@teachersfirstegypt.comedu 2014 with collaboration with the Academy of Scientific research. he leverages his 6 plus years as a trainer and schools’ improvement consultant to promote student-driven learning environments powered by digital tools and resources.
He is holding Cambridge International Diploma for Trainers and Teachers CDITT. Adding to that an archery coach for reputable club in Egypt. During his career as a trainer Ashraf has delivered a variety of training programs including the use of IWB, designing interactive content, using videos for blended learning, 21st century skills, gamifying the classroom, and using technology for formative and summative assessments.

Mohamed Afifi … is the authentic Egyptian teacher out of the simple rural life He choose to begin the process as a teacher in Cairo for his belief that the opportunities born from the womb of the capital and helped his sense of artistic and emotional to shine in the teaching of history and geography and is now a teacher – Secondary stage- Cared to develop, acquire professional training courses in active learning and classroom management and obtained a certificate I.C.D.L. Moreover, conduct TV educational programs at Egyptian television for the secondary stage since 2005 and so far.

He is the permanent learner, “Essam Zyada” who obtained a Bachelor of Arts and Education in 1998 with final grade very good, ranking third among his colleagues in the Geography Section. He obtained a Professional Diploma in Educational Technology and a Special Diploma in Education Technology. He worked in the field of teaching as a Geography teacher. Then he joined the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to work as a computer teacher in many schools, namely Alagyal Almotatawerah International schools in Jeddah.
Seeking work in different areas and diversified experience, Essam Zyada has undertaken additional jobs; he joined Prince Abdullah project for education development in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, training at Sarawat Institute of computers, and worked in the field of research and marketing studies. He also worked as public relations department director for Saudi German hospitals one of the largest hospitals in the Middle East. There, he was repeatedly nominated the ideal employee.
Out of his belief that education is the most influential work in human lives, he dedicated himself to continuous self-development in the field of education in many topics. This has motivated him to obtain a Master Degree in Electronic Educational Management. He also joined many training courses that have reinforced this notion and that attitude. The most recent training was the participation in “Teachers First” programme, one of change ambassadors nationwide, where he was, as lead mentor, responsible for continuous and around the clock support for each of his mentor colleagues and trainees.
